Hey, I'm Jamie.

Since the days of patiently waiting for my films to be developed as a child as I've always been fascinated by the emotions evoked by the visual image.

But it's not until later in life did I rediscover the magic of photography beyond capturing snaps on my phone.

I love the synergy of understanding the mechanics and technology of capturing and editing an image and the magic of the creative process.

Whether that's capturing someone in the way that reflects who they are as a person to bottling a moment in time or working to create a piece of art, these are all elements of photography that made me fall in love with it.

I work completely digitally but try to preserve the magic and the feel of working with film. And despite working in the AI sector outside of photography you won't see me resorting to wholesale AI generated images*, where's the fun in that?
